Description
The 3D Bird is intended to be cut from metal using a CNC cutting system. Once fabricated, the pieces can be fit together to form a 3D bird which can be placed in the yard, garden or attached to a tree or bard. This artwork contains a bird with decorative design patterns on it's body and wings.
Machinist Notes
We recommend cutting this design on 12 gauge steel (~.10" thick) to ensure the pieces connect together. In our testing, we achieved the best cut wth 65A,130 volts and a speed of around 35 to 40 in/min. You can modify the design with CAD software to allow cutting on any number of gauge material. Review the tables below for more detailed specifications.
